Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years to promote health and well- being while preventing illness and disease. Small sterile needles are inserted into specific points on the body, stimulating the body’s natural healing response to create physical and emotional balance.

Acupuncture needles are 1/2 inch to 1.5 inches in length and are as thin as a strand of hair. After they are inserted, the needles remain in place for 25-30 minutes. During this time you’ll lie on a massage table in a softly-lit room while the needles and your body work together in a painless process. Patients typically report feelings of deep relaxation, improved energy and a reduction in physical symptoms after a treatment.

Various medical conditions have been successfully treated with acupuncture, including: irregular menstrual cycles, morning sickness, pain conditions, insomnia, migraines, tinnitus (ringing of the ears), and more.
