Dr. Susan Del Sordi DO- Essential Family Health and Wellness
Dr. Susan Del Sordi is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment. She graduated from ASU with a degree in Psychology and Biology. She obtained her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and completed her residency training at Scottsdale Healthcare.
Dr. Del Sordi is owner and founder of Essential Family Health and Wellness. She has broadened her career in Functional Medicine to offer patients a more natural approach in healthcare. Dr. Del Sordi’s passion for her work allows her to bring the latest research in medicine to her patients. Her philosophy as a physician is to partner with her patients to achieve optimum health and balance in their lives. She is very much a believer in a holistic approach and incorporates her osteopathic training in her daily practice.
Kathleen Rickard DNP, APRN, FNP-C – Essential Family Health and Wellness
Dr. Kathleen Rickard is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) with 18 years as a nurse practitioner and over 30 years as a registered nurse. She has developed and presented workshops across the country to address important topics in health and wellness.
As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) she will assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe in the state of Arizona. With mainstream medicine always in mind, she continues to learn how other alternative modalities could benefit a person’s health and well-being.
In addition to being a nurse practitioner, Kathleen has extensive training in specific meditations, gentle body movements and sound currents as part of her Kundalini Yoga training. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a Master Reiki practitioner.
Sara Huschke Emery, MS, ANP- Essential Family Health & Wellness
Sara Huschke Emery has been an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) since 2001. Sara is originally from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing then worked as an RN in Intensive Care until 2000.
Sara received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Arizona State University in 2000 and has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since then in an Internal Medicine practice.
She is passionate about helping people recover from chronic illness as well as preventative care. Sara specializes in chronic health issues, acute illness, and women’s health. As a former athlete, she is a big proponent of proper nutrition. She believes good nutrition is essential in healing the body and maintaining health. Sara will prescribe specialized diets to follow according to one’s medical condition.
Dr. Nicole Kummer MD, FACOG- Advanced Fertility Care
Dr. Kummer obtained her Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell development at the University of Minnesota. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she moved to Chicago where she earned her doctor of medicine at the Chicago Medical School. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital. During her residency, she was awarded “Best Laparoscopic Surgeon” and “Best Resident Teacher”.
She then pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Kummer relocated to Arizona and joined Advanced Fertility Care in 2016. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Kummer is skilled in ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and in vitro fertilization. She has extensive experience with evaluation and management of polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, and pelvic pain.
Dr. Nathaniel Zoneraich MD, FACOG
Dr. Nathaniel Zoneraich received his degree from Cornell University and attended medical school in New York, NY. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Zoneraich completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
There he served as Chief Executive Resident during his last year of residency and was awarded Outstanding Resident of Gynecologic Endoscopy by his peers and mentors of the OB/GYN department.
Dr. Zoneraich went on to complete his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He moved to Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland area and joined Washington Fertility Center where he proved his skills with helping in creating families. In 2005, Dr. Zoneraich moved to Arizona to open Advanced Fertility Care.
Dr. Zoneraich is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology, American Medical Association, and Phoenix OB/GYN society.
Dr. Zoneraich has some of the highest success rates in AZ and throughout the country. Special interests of his include fertility preservation with egg freezing, IVF (in-vitro-fertilization), donor egg IVF, and advanced hysteroscopic surgery.
Dr. Frederick Larsen MD, FACOG- Advanced Fertility Care
Dr. Frederick Larsen received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and received his M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1994. Postgraduate, he completed OB/GYN residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Larsen was practicing as an OB/GYN generalist for 2 years prior to doing his fellowship at Duke University in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Upon completion of his fellowship in 2003, Dr. Larsen served as director of Assisted Reproductive Technologies at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. for 5 years.
He is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and the Phoenix OB/GYN Society. Special interests include fertility preservation, IVF, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, tubal reversal surgery, and the legal aspects of reproductive medicine.
